NVG Night Operator 1 - (Live Fire)

This course will educate students on the fundamentals of night vision equipment (NVE) setup, operation and use. Students will learn the history, function, operation, focusing and zeroing of NVE/NVD in low light | no light environments. Students will participate in a variety of live-fire exercises aimed at improving individual performance, speed and accuracy with night vision goggles, lasers, and white light.

Students will participate in group and individual shooting drills and individual assessments with direct interaction and training with an instructor. The course will address basic comprehension and use of the weapon system, night vision goggles and night vision equipment. Students will obtain no light and low light baseline times. Step out of your comfort zone, push your training standards, compete with yourself and against other shooters.

All attendees need a helmet, mount, NVG's, IR aiming device, batteries, carbine, sling, 3 magazines, 250 rounds of non-armor piercing green tip rounds, a mounted white light source, duty rig, handgun, 3 magazines, 100 rounds of pistol, eye and hearing protection.  (Only Full metal jacketed ammo i.e., 55 grain FMJ is permitted, NO GREEN TIP M855 ARMOR PIERCING ROUNDS ALOWED ). Plate carrier with triple mag pouch, associated gear are encouraged. Attendees will be shooting steel so you MUST have side shields on your eye protection.

All attendees MUST acknowledge the Release of Liability Waiver and Safety Brief prior to registering and paying.
